The November 2016 Autumn statement, delivered by the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt Hon Philip Hammond MP, reported that there has been huge progress since 2010 in turning the economy around. Record highs for employment rate and a vastly reduced deficit. However, Mr Hammond stated that the deficit was still high and ‘Productivity’ too low.
At the HotSW LEP’s Conference October 2016, Chris Garcia – LEP Chief Exec and Steve Hindley – LEP Chairman, shared a three-pronged approach to the ‘Productivity Challenge’ – Place, People and Business.

The tutors have a true passion for getting the candidates to live and breathe the unit-contents, which gives them opportunities to put theory into practice – applying it in their daily role within the business.
